“What a great find! Very pleasant, clean bedroom and a fabulous restaurant. Food was beautifully presented -more Michelin star type of presentation than the usual 'pub grub'. Having said that- they do also have all the pub usuals eg burgers and fish and chips. My salmon starter was fabulous- done with fennel, microherbs and zingy avocado…. and my cod was beautifully cooked. The cottage pie that my husband had was made of good lean steak, not the usual mince. Very well priced. Lovely staff. Couldn't fault it. We'd definitely go again if in the area.”

“Ground floor w,chair adapted kingsize room. Well appointed for mobility impaired guests. Our room was very clean,quiet & spacious. Large wetroom,again,very clean & spacious. Hopping Hare is a lovely building,decorated to a high standard. Very pleasent, friendly staff,nothing too much trouble. Excellent choice of menus,meals all cooked fresh,very presentable & delicious. We would reccomend this hotel to anyone & will definitely be staying again!”

“I booked this night away on booking.com The reviews were very good. Our room was very clean and well presented. The restaurant was fantastic. I asked the waitress to tell the chef the food was amazing. The waitress service was excellent also. The manager was very polite and helpful. Good choice of food on menu. Breakfast was great quality. “My wife and I stayed for 2 nights, while the British MotoGP was on at Silverstone. The Hopping Hare is a great location for a stop over with Silverstone only 20 minutes away by car or bike. The staff are fantastic and really give out warm welcomes. We had room 9 and it was a good sized room. I love the decor of the pub. The pub is in a 5G area so no need to hook into the Wi-Fi for quick speeds. Loved the breakfast. All freshly cooked to order.”

“Attractive redbrick and stone building tastefully modernised. Good car parking. Good modern rooms, but accessed via a winding internal staircase as there is no lift. There is at least one accessible ground-floor room. Room keys are a modern key-card system, there is out-of-hours access via a side door when the Pub is closed. Excellent restaurant, room rate includes cooked-to-order breakfast, but note that breakfast hours are 7-9am. Check-in from 2-30pm at the Bar, there is no separate Reception counter.. Check-out by 11am. Well recommended ..!”

“A small group of friends visited here for an evening meal and we were not disappointed. We had previously only eaten Sunday lunch here which has always been good. The menu is quite extensive and includes Gluten free options. We only had main courses and desserts. All our meals were thoroughly enjoyed beautifully cooked and presented. The dessert options are equally as delicious and again beautifully presented. We visited on a quiet night and only a few were in the restaurant. The service was efficient and proactive. We will definitely return as our expectations were exceeded.”

“We went for the newly established taster menu which is happening every Friday. The food was so good, really interesting menu focusing on local and seasonal produce. At £45 per person which included a glass of wine it was excellent value. We've always found the service really good and this was no exception. When I struggled to finish my (2nd) pudding a box was produced for me to transport it home. We will definitely be back for more.”
