“We went for the newly established taster menu which is happening every Friday. The food was so good, really interesting menu focusing on local and seasonal produce. At £45 per person which included a glass of wine it was excellent value. We've always found the service really good and this was no exception. When I struggled to finish my (2nd) pudding a box was produced for me to transport it home. We will definitely be back for more.”

“Excellent and friendly staff. Fantastic food cooked by great chefs. The poached eggs are the best in the UK! Everything cooked perfectly. Rooms are nice. Parking is ample. Beds are comfy as are the pillows. I would definitely recommend a visit to this family owned hotel.”

“Visited for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday. The food was amazing and had a great selection of sandwiches, desserts, homemade scones and tea. The staff were great and always checked if everything was ok and offered us regular tea refills. Will definitely be back for an afternoon tea!”
